    Hi everyone,

Since a few weeks, I’v got that message at the bottom of my website homepage.

    https://internet-bodyguard.com/

The only way to get rid of that error message is to change something on my website (modify or add a page/article, update wordpress…), but it does not last long.

I contacted OVH (my host) and the only answer they gave to me was to look a that topic : https://forum.ovh.com/showthread.php?59269-an-error-occurred-while-processing-this-directive

    [translated from french]

No it is not the server

It has a syntax error in the file.
It must pass some version of apache, and not with others, but it is a syntax error anyway.

Comment HTML that is written like this:
    <- This is a comment ->
With a space between the tag and the text

If you forget the space it can happen in some cases but not in others

The <- # this is a case that goes on our apache servers, but this is not to say that it is a server problem
It goes to Free, but it's just a fluke. If they make an update apache, it can not walk very well overnight

The majority of apps on the web (apache, php) are quite tolerant of syntax errors, but it is always better to pay attention to the syntax because it can change depending on the version.

If you do not want to worry, complies with the space between the tag and the text for the HTML comments.

The problem is I have no idea what file and what I should look after to solve my problem. I made some customization on my child theme but I wrote no #comments.

Any idea would be welcomed !

    Thanks,

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

It seems it has something to do with my cache plugin (WP Super Cache), since the bug comes back when I put that plugin on…

Now I have to figure out where the problem comes from !

Hi ibodyguard, since the issue isn’t related to customizr and you also found the cause, mind marking this topic as resolved?
    Thank you
