  • I got the same problem, if there is a fix i am also interested

Hello, also got the same Problem. I use My Music Band Pro.
It occured right after the Yoast Duplicate Post update. So – it seems as if it’s not relevant which Theme you use.

    Hello @sharonbendavar!

Sorry for the trouble. We’ve just released version 4.1 a few hours ago. Is that the version you’re having an issue with? If not, please update the plugin first and see if the issue persists.

    @onlyincebu

Hey there, yes, the updated version I use is 4.1

    Hi @sharonbendavar, @flix609, @monikahh,
we would be very grateful if you could help us in isolating the cause for this error, since we can’t reproduce it.
Has anyone of you the chance to deactivate all the plugins except Duplicate Post and see if the problem is still happening? And then if it’s gone, re-activate the plugins one by one to see which one triggers this problem?
    Thanks in advance!

    Same issue here.
Deactivating the plugin in all my installations. !!!

    Hi @ysintos,
did it happen on different installations with different plugins? Did they have anything in common?
Were they e.g. on the same server/hosting?

I had the problems while changing articles in Elementor. Maybe you guys are also using elementor?

Different hosts, but Elementor installed. i will let you know if it happens with other builders.

Same here with OceanWP and Elementor Pro – after saving of pages/posts I get error An error occurred while deleting the Rewrite & Republish copy.

    @lopo

    Hey Enrico,

to be honest, I am a little afraid to deactivate all the plugins. I didn’t use many, but amongst them I use Elementor Pro. And I just finshed a very long run of design and content creating. I can’t take the risk of that going wrong.

What I can tell you is, that after deactivating Yoast Duplicate Post (after the update where the issue occured) it all worked fine again – like @sharonbendavar said.

Here is a list of the Plugins I use – so maybe we can narrow that down and see, which we have in common:

    Catch Gallery
    Catch IDs
    Catch Infinite Scroll
    Catch Web Tools
    Complianz
    Elementor
    Elementor Pro
    Envato Elements
    Essential Content Types
    Essential Widgets
    Social Gallery Widget
    To Top
    WavePlayer
    Yoast Duplicate Post
    Yoast SEO

    Same issue here:

    Yoast Duplicate Post v. 4.1
    Generatepress theme
    Elementor

The issue does not happen editing a page with Gutenberg editor.
The issue happens editing a page with Elementor.

Disabling Yoast Duplicate Post all works fine.

    I hope this helps.

I confirm: I deactivated Yoast duplicate post and everything is back ok

Hi everyone, thank you so much for you help.
It seems that we can narrow down the problem to setups having both Duplicate Post and Elementor (not only Pro but also with just the Free one, right?)

Can you let me know if this is happening with versions of Elementor before the latest 3.1 that was released yesterday?

    Also having the same issue:

    Yoast Duplicate Post v. 4.1
    OceanWP theme
    Elementor PRO

Issue accuses when editing with Elementor?

I have deactivated the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin and it’s working ok now.

    Hope this helps?
