    hello,
the import has not worked for months
I went because of that to the competing WPCode solution, everything works perfectly…
but they made a terrible bad choice to display forced ads in the backend !
so I came back to your plugin and the import still doesn’t work almost a year later… and no snippet import logic from other solutions like wpcode (they did that)
I suggest to look at the competition there is a real potential for options to add

can you review the import and export mechanism and take into account the scenario import wpcode snippets and correct the import problem?

test environment localhost and / real host
    -laragon 6.0 clean install
    -clean install of wp 6.1.1
    -install snippet code
    -create a snippet
    -export it
-try importing it into a new clean instance
    -error

I’ll list the topics that evoke this unresolved problem.

  • Indeed, I have reported that problem for some time and received little or no feedback on the import that no longer works. Even after months I did not get a solution.
Therefore, I am tempted to indeed switch to that plugin WPCode that you are also familiar with. There everything works fine and appears to be the best alternative in my opinion.

    Hello @nreljed,

At last I think I have worked out what is causing this bug, and I’ve prepared a fix to be included in the next plugin release, v3.3.0.

If you are able to try out the new version on release and let me know if it fixes things on your end, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you!

Amazing! Thank you for testing it out and confirming ??

Meanwhile, I saw that they have then finally fixed the problem after all. With the latest Update 3.3.0 (09 MAR 2022), that problem for importing exported snippets on Windows systems has then been fixed just fine after all. For which my sincere thanks.
Surely the support department did a good job on that although it took a while.
