• I am running this to replace http for https and get the lock on the website. In 5 DB it found 48 cells to change, but it does not tell what are they, and it is getting stucked on the 5th one (WP_OPTIONS). I have decreased the Max PAge Size from 20,000 to 1,000 as recommended by the plug, but still get the same error.

When I run a replace in the 5 tables it says: 5 tables were searched, with 48 cells changed in 37 updates
When, after that, I run the dry search it still says: DRY RUN: 5 tables were searched, 48 cells were found that need to be updated

So seems that changes are not being made.

What to do to get what these cells on the 5 DBs are, and to get info on the 5th DB and to make the replacements done?

  • Hi, I have the same problem. I used this plugin for years and it alwyas worked and replaced without any issue. I could always select all DB and replace all with 1 click.

Now even if I select only 1 small DB I get the same error…
Maybe only a bug of this new version?

@sbraunm Did you use another plugin? (I see that your website is https)

I’ve hit the same problem. Been using BSR for ages and recently started getting the dreaded “An error occurred processing your request. Try decreasing the “Max Page Size”, or contact support.”

Do either of you have any of the following plugins installed?

    • Caldera Forms
    • Compress JPEG & PNG images
    • Extra Icons Plugin for Divi
    • Popup Maker
    • UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    • WooCommerce
    • WooCommerce PayFast Gateway

I’m working with a live site so don’t want to deactivate all the plugins but it might be one of them causing the problem.

    Cheers,

    Rob

Hi @robhob, I do not have any of those plugins active.
But you can use Duplicator plugin or Backupbuddy to create a second beta site to test.
Really strange that better search replace is creating this problems, do they usually answer support questions?

We’ve also been noticing this issue lately. In particular, on SiteGround servers.

I get this error in some hostings. Decreasing the Max Page Size value does nothing.

I have the same problem and I have installed

    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce PayFast Gateway

“An error occurred processing your request. Try decreasing the “Max Page Size”, or contact support.”

    I tried multiple times.
