    Hi. On a new install of WordPress with Jetpack being the only installed plugin when I click on the Jetpack page to Connect your user account, I keep getting an error that says “An error occurred. Please try again.” I have tried deleting and reinstalling Jetpack already.

    ?XML-RPC seems to be correct.

    I run other wordpress blogs with Jetpack from that server with no issues.

    Any ideas why I am getting that error?

    Thanks for your patience and for bearing with us; we’re working on a huge backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

    it looks like this site isn’t connected to Jetpack anymore. If you’re still willing to connect it (we hope so!) could you please reinstall Jetpack from scratch and reconnect it, to see how it goes!

    We’ll investigate further should something goes wrong ??

    Thank you for the response.

    I am not able to connect to jetpack for reasons unknown to me. I have tried reinstalling the plugin multiple times, and this is the only plugin installed with the native twenty twenty three theme.

    I have attached the image below that says “An error occurred. Please try again.”

    My hosting provider said there should be no firewall and they did not see any thing of interest in their log files.

    Hi @sdk32285, could you check that the domain is properly configured so that HTTP resolves to HTTPS? Currently, if I visit https://www.leah.kohanbash.com/, the browser shows a message that the certificate is not correctly setup.

    Out of caution, it may also help to allowlist the Jetpack IP addresses at the web host, the Jetpack IP ranges are available at https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/.
