    If I disable the plugin, the problem disappears.

    EXIF in PHP is enabled:

    EXIF Support enabled

    Supported EXIF Version 0220
    Supported filetypes JPEG,TIFF

    Im running PHP v5.6.15 on Apache

    PHP Memory Limit 256.0 MiB
    PHP Max Upload Size 128.0 MiB
    PHP Max Script Execute Time 600s

    Looking at the post response I get the following:

    Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 89915392) (tried to allocate 16000 bytes) in /homepages/0/d84115947/htdocs/myzeit/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/image-rotation-fixer/image-rotation-fixer.php on line 56

    The php memory_limit is set to 256M!
