An error occurred

  • Dear support,

    The AgeGate plugin seems not working even though I’ve debugged the plugin. Still, I can’t find any solution to troubleshoot. As you can see at the link provided when the user wanted to enter the site and click yes or no. The button link is not working and displays “An error occurred, please try again”. Please help fix it asap as the site already launched. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @sofone10,

    The REST Api and admin-ajax calls are both failing, but if I view the request in the browser or call it via fetch in the js console it works just fine. Do you have any server error logs that mention it as it appears like it should be working.

    So far no. So, what’s the solution? What I need to do for this age gate plugin to works just fine?

    Hi @sofone10,

    As the endpoint works it seems something is causing an error. I’d try and disable all the other plugins and see it it works and then reactivate them to see it then stops working on one of them.

    If it still doesn’t work with everything else deactivated let me know and I’ll see if I can figure something else out

    I already deactivated all of the plugins. When I reactivate age gate back. It’s still now working as the button yes display error and can’t enter my website.
