An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update

    That is most likely because WordPress is trying to automatically update you to WordPress 4.4. Did you make sure that the major and minor updates under the automatic updates is set to disable (or the switch turns red)? Also, when did you install Easy Updates Manager? Did you install it before or after WordPress 4.4 was released?
