An administrator menu item (instaled plugin)is not recognized

Thanks for your kind words! The Hide Other Menus section doesn’t change user roles’ permissions, but simply removes the menu link for those user roles. This plugin can’t add access to another plugin’s page, but only remove the menu item for it, due to the way that WordPress plugins work.

My advice would be to contact the developers of WP Simple Booking Calendar and ask them if there is a way to allow other user roles to access the page, although if they don’t have a setting for it then I suspect this will be quite difficult without making major changes to the plugin.

To add other menus to the admin area, you could try “Admin Menu Editor”, but even if a menu is added, it probably still won’t let these other users into the page.

No worries! The most likely permission required will be manage_options, but giving this permission to other user roles isn’t usually recommended as it tends to give them too much access to other parts of the site.

Hi, you gave me the solution, the plugin was not visible to “Editor”. When the plugin created a page in the menu, it was only created for “manage_options”. I have edited that in the plugin code and changed it to “moderate_comments”, and everything has been fixed.
