    Hello I have a problem.

I have recently activated PayPal payment on my website, and what happens is that when the person clicks on the PayPal button, the user is created automatically, regardless of whether or not the order is completed later.

Obviously there will be people who click on the PayPal button but then do not complete the payment, so it does not interest that the user is believed until the purchase is actually completed.

    Can this be fixed?

    Thanks

    Hey @btenias

    Thanks for reaching out!
We do actually have plans to change this behavior in the future and we do have an issue logged for this that you can keep track of and comment on here https://github.com/awesomemotive/edd-auto-register/issues/84

Before we make this change we would like to rebuild or checkout/payment processing code which will then make this change possible and less prone for issues.

To make it short, it’s not something that can be done easily at the momemt but we do plan to change the way it works in the future, most likely after EDD 3.0 is released.

    Regards
