    Hi.

I have AMR Users v 4.2.2 running on the current version of WP. I also have the ‘amr users plus itthinxgroups’ plug-in, which allows me to use fields generated by Itthinks Groups plug-in. Just recently, I have noticed that AMR Users will no longer pick up these fields and no longer displays them. Both plug-ins have undergone revisions/upgrades since they were first installed on this system and I cannot say for sure when this problem commenced – I only noticed it myself a few days ago.

Any help/advice appreciated and grateful thanks in advance.

Hi Michael, all is fine on my system. I redownloaded the itthinx from wordpress, created new group, ran ‘find fields’ and re-added the itthinx group & group count to a list. All worked See https://imgur.com/EvhjYk2. When you say it no longer displays the fields, take a user and check whether they actually belong to a group. Often when someone says the plugin is not displaying data, it is because there is no data to display. Try sorting by the groups field, change direction – then users that have groups will sort towards the beginning or the end of the list.

Anmari – thanks as always for your prompt and helpful reply. Running ‘Find Fields’ added them back. I’m not sure why they got lost in the first place, but that’s a minor detail. A ‘PEBKAC’ problem, as we say where I work!

You must get so sick of imbeciles like me asking such basic questions, so thanks again!

Add: Oh – just remembered: Groups is one of those plug-ins where, after an upgrade, you (sometimes) need to de-activate/re-activate. Maybe that would do it…

Weird – shouldn’t lose it unless a ‘reset’ was done. Thanks for letting me know.
