Greetings. I have been having the above mentioned issue, which seems to be fairly common based on my research. Anyway, I have been trying to install the latest version of the AMP plugin and I cant access onboarding and the Settings page. I have tried all your recommendations based on your responses to people who have encountered the same issue in the past. That includes uninstalling all plugins and opening site health. I have even taken the step to reset most elements on the site, other than my posts. All that has failed. The only thing that has worked is rolling back to AMP 2.3.0. When I do that, I am able to onboard and access all Settings. Now I am wondering what could be the issue. It’s rather mysterious. In most of your responses here, you talk about site health and other plugins. I have removed all plugins from the site except AMP and that has not helped. Hopefully, there is a solution somewhere that enables me to use the latest version of AMP.

Thanks for the response. Below is the id for the scan as advised. Anyway, everything is working fine using the earlier version of AMP. I have read probably a hundred similar posts here and can almost predict that you will check and say you cant replicate the issue (is there are smiley icon here). And it’s not an issue with plugins because I tested with every plugin removed. That didn’t work. But there was something after 4.0 that caused the issue.

    Hello @tapiwaz

Thank you for sending the site details, We tried to reproduce the issue by replicating your site configurations, but we are not able to find any issues with 2.4.1

We will recommend checking by deactivating the Ad Inserter plugin and additionally making sure that Ad Inserter does not insert any code before or after the HTML tag.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you anyway. I will just keep using version 2.3.0. As mentioned earlier on, the issue does not have anything to do with a plugin. I encountered the issue before installing any plugin other than AMP. It definitely has nothing to do with Ad Inserter which I installed only now after writing you my first message. Will keep investigating to try and decode it in any case.

    Hello @tapiwaz

Thank you, that is a strange issue indeed, we never have reports of similar issues nor we are able to reproduce it on our system, Please keep investigating and let us know if you can find the root cause of it.

Thank you for you response. The issue is indeed strange. But it’s hardly unique. There are tens of similar reports right here on this forum. In any case, since we last spoke, I have since done a complete reset of my site. Not because of that issue alone, but because the site was generally broken down. I reinstalled WordPress and then I added back all my content from Yandex and Google cache. The first thing that I did after reinstalling WordPress was to get back the AMP plugin. Lo and behold, the problem remained even on a fresh install! I had to rollback to the earlier version of AMP to get onboarding and Settings to work. My thinkink is, could the issue be to do with my host? Or maybe with my PHP? I am on PHP 7.4. Could it be to do with settings in cPanel. The reset solved all of my site’s issues save for the AMP issue. But that’s fine because everything is working well on the earlier version.

Okay, I have just updated to AMP 2.4.2 and it appears everything is now working as it should. So, maybe the issue was with 2.4.0 and 2.4.1. Or maybe the changes on my site resolved the issue after all. In any case, thank you!
