AMP vs WPTouch

  • Hi everyone ??

    I struggle to understand the difference between a plugin like WPTouch and AMP for WP.

    I currently use WPTouch for my mobile users but understand that AMP is superior, hence I would like mobile visitors to see the AMP version of my site. Two questions:

    1. Is it enough to uninstall WPTouch, and install and customize AMP for WP + AMP? Or should I think about something else?
    2. Once above operation is complete, I can see the AMP version of my site on desktop by adding /?amp to my URL, but on mobile version it seems to default to the desktop version, and not the AMP. Is there something I am missing?
