• ADMINS: Not sure if this is the right category.

As a visual person, I rarely use my phone to surf, and much prefer desktop. So I have not been aware up til now of the huge differences when you view a site on mobile.

I’ve gotten 7 redirect errors from Google Console for non-amp pages, and my (little) traffic in “Discovery” stopped. (No fix so far.)

The 2 versions, Amp and non-amp, look so different! AMP has a huge space under the post title, no sidebar anywhere, no menu, and of course no ad. They have added my twitter link to my author bio, which I do NOT want. And the images look smaller.

And AMP is no faster, at least on my site. It appears to me that AMP offers only disadvantages for a personal site, but as I am quite small, I wanted to see if I am mistaken, or what I am missing.

And if I decide to go back to non-amp for this and my other websites, do I have to redirect all the AMP pages?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If you had AMP enabled for several weeks, you will have to do some redirection so that it won’t affect SEO search results.

    Thank you. I did that.
