AMP validation for bigger stories (with reels)

    Hi! I don’t know if this right place, but today i created a bigger story post (46 pages), with reels and images with movement. And the system says the story is not a valid AMP page.

    How i can try to fix this? Or this its from only AMP backend? In Search console shows the not indexed video (but passes other validation, but don’t show its web story type), or in near future i can set the main video, if i uses 2 ou more videos/reels in story?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    From what I can see, you have CloudFlare configured on your site, which seems to block tools like the AMP Test Tool from accessing your story. Then of course the AMP validator does not see your story, but a “Just a moment please” message from CloudFlare.

    I recommend reaching out to your system administrator or CloudFlare support to unblock access to your stories.

    As for the Search Console video indexing report, it is still very new. I recommend checking out the help center article, which explains the variety of potential issues and how to troubleshoot them.

    That said, my understanding from that article is that it’s OK and totally expected if some videos are not indexed, so I wouldn’t be concerned. Quote:

    Google only indexes a video if it has a minimum level of prominence on the page, and Google prefers to index the most prominent video on the page.

    We will definitely keep an eye on the video indexing report and communicate any changes if needed.

    It make sense. I’ll check with the host administrator later.

    And for other stories and traditional pages, the AMP Test Tool works normally. Just for the one that had this problem, because I decided to test it today.

    CloudFlare probably uses various factors to decide whether to block access or not. While these URLs indeed seem to work when using the AMP Test Tool, they don’t when testing via https://validator.amp.dev/
