AMP gets installed successfully, but when I Click AMP Settings it take few minutes and shows this error: “Something Went Wrong. Check your connection and open your browser console to see of there are any error messages. You may share them on the Support Forum.”

And When I had installed AMP for the first time it was showing the settings, but later I had removed it. After some weeks I tried to install AMP again, It installs and gets activated, but shows the error instead of Settings.

    How fix this

    Hello @ngorbit

Thank you for contacting us, As mentioned in the error message are you able to see any errors in the browser console? if yes can you please copy and send them?

Also, check if you are able to send support UUID by Visiting AMP->Support then clicking on the “Send Data” button will generate a UUID please share that id with us.

If you are not able to get Support UUID please send your site health information using this form, so we can further investigate the issue.

Hello, thank you, I have submitted data on Google Forms regarding the health of my site.

I can’t provide the UUID code because the Amp Setting Tab is blank, there’s nothing

    Hello @ngorbit

Thank you for sending us your site health information, We tried to replicate your environment on our test site but we are unable to reflect it perfectly as you are using some Paid(PRO) plugins and theme.

We cannot determine the exact cause of the issue so we will recommend self debugging using the Health and Troubleshooting plugin.

To narrow down further, could you use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely since it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

    – Please enable the AMP plugin and let me know if the issue is present.
    – Enabling plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
    – Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

Hello, I have tried your suggestion, but the AMP Settings Tab that only works is Validated URLs and Error Index.

The AMP Dashboard Settings still shows the message “Something went wrong. Check your connection and open your browser console to see if there are any error messages. You may share them on the support forum.”

    Thanks for your support..

Please follow the step by step guide:

    6. Visit plugin -> installed plugins and activate one of the plugin (only one at a time) which was active on your site
    7. Check AMP Settings page which caused the issue
    8. Do you found that issue?
    9. if yes then you found culprit report back to us, or check that plugins settings
    10. if not continue from step 6

I just followed the method above, but just activated the AMP theme and plugin in troubleshoot mode then just visit the Amp Settings tab, still nothing appears and there are notifications like before.

I decided to deactivate and uninstall this plugin, because I couldn’t find a way to fix it.

    thank you

It looks like your theme Foxiz may be causing the issue, it will be best to approach their support.
