Hi, I’m using AMP Plugin and asciinema.
Amp blocked my videos with asciinema and I cant restore them, I tried disabling amp, enabling again asciinema but the problem remains.

I know I made this error by blocking some functions from AMP PLugin, but I cant revert that.

    Can you help me?

    Hi @tuviejaenbolas
I’ll look into this for you. To clarify, were you using the official AMP Plugin?

    Hello Jesse, yes.
If you want I can give you admin access to see the problem, the specific page with this problem is [ short link expanded into link field ]
which is the only page with cast videos.
Sometimes load, but most of time it not only doesnt load but other items in the page get also stuck.

    Thank you very much.

@tuviejaenbolas Please do not offer anyone admin access, even a test one or staging. That’s not permitted and is extremely unsafe. Plugin developers have gotten into real trouble here for accepting that in the past.

Also please do not use short links in these forums, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. I have expanded yours into the link field.

    @jdembowski I apologize.

Yes @tuviejaenbolas I wouldn’t want to go into your Admin and mess anything up worse for you.

I’ll do some testing with AMP and Asciinema Player and report back here if I can find the solution for you.

At a glance @tuviejaenbolas, I’d suspect your Minification (Fast Velocity Minification) plugin rather than AMP. If you disable FVM for a moment, and load the page again, do your Asciinemas work?

Thank you @jessecowens ,to reproduce the error once they are installed I recommend you to block the components refused by AMP on “validate urls” and “index errors” AMP section, then even if you go back and allow these components the problem persists.

    Thank you again.

@jessecowens you were right. Now works.

Now I will add on that article information on your plugin with a link to explain how these videos were recorded.

    Thank you very much.

@jessecowens thank you again. As you can see now your plugin is mentioned at the start of the article.
Thank you for doing this plugin and supporting it.

Hey @tuviejaenbolas glad to hear it! I also just released a bugfix for WordPress 5.5, it was preventing new uploads of JSON and CAST files, and it wasn’t doing that in the release candidate, so be sure to update the plugin if you’re upgrading to WP 5.5
