AMP pages won’t work and are creating numerous errors in error log

  • I tested my AMP pages recently, and saw this:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 175 bytes) in /home/********/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1475

    I checked the error log, and a nearly identical error has been getting recorded hundreds of times every day since late September…

    This error stops getting recorded in the error log when I disable AMP plugin
