    Hi there, I have a client with a site-wide issue. Wasn’t able to find any resources to understand why this might be happening.

    Basically, my client reached out and said when publishing a blog post, it automatically shows up on laptop/desktop, but not via mobile devices. Emptying the cache does help speed the process up, but new blog posts rarely show up fast on mobile devices.

    The client has the AMP plugin activated, the “Template Mode” in the setting is Reader and AMP Legacy is the theme.

    “Redirect mobile visitors to AMP” setting is deactivated and Plugin Suppression is active on all plugins with no validation errors detected.

    Is there something I’m missing here? I can’t find any reason for the plugin to be taking longer to show the blog post live with mobile vs desktop.

    Thanks for any help!
    Ben

    @horizonunknown thanks for reaching out!

    1) Could you provide a URL to an AMP page on the site (alternatively use the form below)?

    2) It also might be helpful for us to to see the Site Health info for the site through this form.

    Hi Renee, thanks for the reply!

    1 – Sure thing, my client is saying it appears to be sitewide, this is the latest post on the site – https://justanotheredmontonmommy.com/2020/11/family-fun-day-camp-yowochas-outdoor-centre/amp/

    2 – I filled out the form with the information I have on hand and submitted a few minutes before posting this reply, I can find out more information if needed to help identify the issue.

    Thanks
    Ben

    From inspecting the AMP URLs and performing various checks I don’t encounter any delays, when served from AMP cache or when accessing any AMP URL directly.

    The AMP version of the latest post also performs much better when testing performance using web.dev, so it doesn’t look like there is action required.

    Have you or your client tested out for an improved experience using one of the available reader mode themes other than the legacy theme?
