    Hello,

I noticed none of my AMP pages are shown in the SERPs, even though they are all crawled and valid, instead, desktop URLs appear for mobile visitors.

Any idea what the problem can be?

    Some extra details:
    – The way I came to this understanding was that I realized all my mobile traffic is “direct” traffic even though 95% of traffic is organic – I redirect mobile users to AMP pages. So, mobile users click on the desktop URL on SERP and get redirected to AMP and they’re considered direct by GA
    – I first set up AMP 1 year ago
    – Google console is not showing any crawl errors for AMP pages

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @dalnoon

Thank you for contacting us, There are many factors that need to be considered for the AMP page to appear in SERP.

    1) Core web Vitals
    2) Structured Data / SEO
    3) Page Experience
    4) Competition

In case you are concerned about AMP vs non-AMP traffic, I will recommend turning off the Automatic Mobile redirection from AMP plugin settings and observing traffic for a month.

You can also use Performance Metrics tool to compare AMP vs non-AMP aspects (recommended to use after 1 month once you turn off mobile redirection )

    We hope this is helpful!

Hello @milindmore22 , Thanks for replying to the thread.

as I mentioned in the post, my pages are ranking and the users are flowing into the website, the only problem is, Desktop pages (normal non-amp pages) are appearing instead of AMP pages, so the items you shared are not really relevant in my case.

Page experience is 100% and the AMP pages are valid based on GSC reports. The only problem is that Google is preferring Desktop URLs over AMP pages which I don’t understand why.

    Hello @dalnoon

We don’t know for sure, what could cause this behaviour we will recommend contacting GSC support.

You can also implement changes suggested by me ie. toggle off a Mobile redirect from AMP setting to observe traffic, this will help you in distinguish between AMP and non-AMP traffic.

If you turn off redirect it won’t affect AMP results that are served from the AMP cache.
