• Hello,

I set up AMP pages using this plugin on my website about 2 weeks ago. We successfully rolled it out with no errors. I see over 2000 of our posts have been indexed on our Google console. Granted there are still about 5000 more posts yet to be indexed, I was wondering why we don’t see any AMP posts showing up on Google yet?

Could it be because we have a lot of posts, so it’ll take even longer to show up? Or should it have started showing up by now – since 2 weeks have already gone by?

    Thanks,

    Anyone please?

How are you looking for them?

I believe you will only see pages in SERPS if relevant to the search, but also only on compatible platform, like Chrome browser on mobile device.

Also, it seems sites outside USA taking longer, likely due to all the privacy bugaboos happening with Google in certain places.

Only way you can tell they have been identified as AMP-ready is the little lightning bolt. So, if you can find your pages normally in mobile SERPS, look for the lightning bolt – that is only difference. If your pages were not rated as mobile friendly to begin with, then there is likely some kind of delay related to that.

I would say, based on others, allow 4-6 weeks to see them. Until then your mobile friendly pages will be “served” as in the past.

Mine have been passing amp criteria for over a month – and nothing in mobile results yet
when searching on mobile chrome even my desktop results are above mobile – and no lightening bolt even though the pages are indexed.

FYI it seems about 25-50 pages are being indexed a wee, currently at around 1500 pages

Thanks @neotrope. I guess I should give it a few more weeks, especially since we have about 8,000 posts that needs to be indexed.

Question though – I’ve been wondering about this for a while. None of the featured images on our site is 696px (width) or more. They are all 530px wide. So, when I use Googles Structure Data Testing Tool, I get no errors but I do get a warning saying “The attribute image.width has an invalid value.”

Could this warning be preventing AMP from showing up in Google?

Right now, I don’t even get the SERPS showing either.

    Thanks,

Mine just show up using Google Browser app, I tested right now. Under Google Search app I tried top accessed pages that I saw at Analytics and I couldn’t see any AMP label

“The attribute image.width has an invalid value.” It’s because the image width IS incorrect. So is the height, BTW, because there is supposed to be quotes around the data part of the JSON data, {“height”:100,”width”:100} should be {“height”:”100″,”width”:”100″}.
