AMP pages not detected by Google

The most basic functionality promised does not work. Google does not detect the AMP pages. Furthermore, it causes a site slowdown. Nonfunctional and impedes performance. Multiple complaints about the failed validation and detection problems. No response or forthcoming fixes. Try a different solution.
