• Hey guys

I think I’m really close to getting now as i have fixed the woocommerce issue BUT when i add /?amp to my posts live, in a browser on desktop or mobile they look wrong. theres a really big menu and no featured image. Im using Design 2 so i believe there should be a featured image? i also have a logo added and as i say, it all shows fine in customiser.

here’s an example of one of my posts….

Be great if you guys could check this please as i am also having lots and lots of issues being reported in Google Search console.

one of the biggest being that its saying i have duplicate title tags for my woocommerce pages and their amp pages. Is there a canonical set up in your amp for woocommerce plug in please? if not, can you add one please?

and also for my blog pages it is saying…
that the canonicals are appearing multiple times on each page causing issues

    and also…
he mandatory text (CDATA) inside tag ‘head > style[amp-boilerplate] – old variant’ is missing or incorrect.
The property ‘minimum-scale’ is missing from attribute ‘content’ in tag ‘meta name=viewport’.

    plus…
The tag ‘amp-iframe extension .js script’ is missing or incorrect, but required by ‘amp-iframe’.

    Any help greatly appreciated please!

    Hello @mattw1000

I have checked your website , are you using any optimization plugin like auto optimize ?

if yes then that is causing this issue because we don’t ship the scripts with defer , look here

    our code that we ship

As for woocommerce we have started to support our amp Woocommerce plugin in the next update which is gonna be today and also there is gonna be an update even for that in a day or two

As for multiple canonical tags getting added, are you using multiple AMP plugins ?

As for CDATA , are you using the latest version of our plugin and also Standard AMP plugin ?

    Regards
    AzMak

that’s not autoptimize (which bails on AMP-pages anyway), but probably something like “async javascript“.

    Hi AzMak

Thanks for getting back, no I’m not using autooptimize. i was using a plug in called JCH for async loading BUT that is currently switched off and has been for a few months now.

Any other plugs you know of please that could be adding a defer?

Good to hear about your woocommerce plug in. So will you be adding canonicals? be great if you are asap as i say, google search console is giving me duplicate content warnings because of it.

Multiple Amp plugs – the only ones i am using are this plug in WP Amp, and your Woocommerce amp plug ing and then the main standard AMP project plug in that it tells me i need when i installed this plug in. So 3 in total.

Which also answers the next question about CDATA – yes I have the standard AMP plug installed and as far as i know they are both the most recent versions. (i would be warned by auto update otherwise right?

i am also getting these warnings in google search console…

The mandatory tag ‘amphtml engine v0.js script’ is missing or incorrect.
The tag ‘link rel=canonical’ appears more than once in the document.

So as you can see lots of issues currently
    thanks
