• Hi,

I’ve been testing your plugin in an AMP-only WordPress website [it’s a test site, so it’s a clean blog theme without fancy plugins].

The manifest is produced, but it doesn’t seem to register a service worker.

Maybe you’d like to take a look for me?

    Thanks!

  • Hello Remco,

Good day and thanks for using SuperPWA.

Rightnow within our plugin we won’t register Service Worker for AMP pages. Service Worker registration within AMP is within our roadmap, hopefully you can expect that within our upcoming updates.

Currently, via our plugin you can only select the AMP page as Start Page.

    Regards!

Then I guess I can’t use your plugin for my PWAMP sites.

    Thanks anyway!

    Remco

If your website is fully consists of AMP pages, you cannot see any Add to Home screen prompt, because our service worker and manifest is not registering upon those AMP pages. As I mentioned earlier its within our roadmap, hopefully you can expect it soon. As of now, if you have any non-AMP pages our plugin will be helpful for you to create PWA.

    Regards

Now I understand the answer that I am looking for. That’s mean I have to uninstall AMP since no Add to Home Screen prompt.

That’s mean people will see my site with AMP only on Google, when they click there’s no Add to Home Screen. This is what I am understand now.

I am looking this answer almost 2 days, I think this is the correct one. Hopefully, someone from SuperPWA confirm me about this.

    Thank you.
