    Hi,

First of all thanks for the plugin.

Secondly, After installing the plugin the mobile menu is not working. On mobile device the menu is not working. You can test https://digitalnet99.com on mobile.

Could you help resolve this? when I disable the plugin it starts working. I do not want to deactivate the plugin since the Google search console already has registered amp links.

    Thanks,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @sainiuk I don’t see AMP active on the URLs I checked on your site at present. If you’re using AMP in reader mode (suitable for themes which are not AMP compatible) you can this mini plugin in order to achieve a working navigation menu.

If you’re using AMP in transitional or standard mode you can make some programmatic changes to make your navigation menu work as expected in AMP, with custom JavaScript restricted in AMP.

You can find out more at the below support topic, or at the plugin websites FAQs page:

    Hi,
I am using standard mode. May you please send me custom javaScript. Because I don’t have any developer. I m new in this and work alone. So please send me custom javascript for my theme. I kindly requested you.

@sainiuk Unfortunately as you can image providing custom solutions is outside the scope of support. You can always check with your theme developer regarding AMP support status.

The reader mode solution suggested requires no change to your existing theme.

I am using an access press mag theme. You have any suggestion.

You can follow @jamesosborne suggestion and select Reader Mode. Alternatively, you can consider switching to an AMP-compatible theme (check the AMP plugin site’s ecosystem page which lists AMP compatible themes: https://amp-wp.org/ecosystem/).

Notice that AMP does not allow 3P/custom JS. So, besides having an AMP-compatible theme, it is also required to have AMP compatible plugins (unless you select Reader mode).

@rushikesh4570 If you’d like to open a new support topic we point you in the right direction. It looks like the theme you are using is not fully AMP compatible with some features such a JavaScript based menu may not working as expected without some changes.

Thanks for the reply James Osborne i will change my theme for sure ,

but can you plz suggest me news themes which are compitable with the amp

For a News site, the Newspack theme may be a good option. But there are others in that list that may serve your needs.

and you can check that i am using amp supported themes but still problem is there you can inspect my site in dev tool console area there are some errors thats why the menu is not working but i dont know what are these errors plz help me

    Thanks,

@rushikesh4570 After inspecting your site it looks like you’re not using an AMP supported theme. While some themes may state AMP support they may be referring to reader mode, which doesn’t use the themes own templates and styles.

You can switch to reader mode or choose a compatible theme if you’d like to ensure AMP content.

For any further queries please open an individual support topic and we’d be happy to assist.

Thank you for reply James Osborne
