SO I have AMP installed and I only ask AMP to convert post not pages. I know that Swift page builder pages and AMP don’t work well together. Yet, AMP keeps redirecting my pages URLS too AMP. I don’t want that.

I tried the Exclude URL From Auto Link Converting options. Didn’t work,
Tried to disable AMP via the page widget, din’t work (page had too many redirects on desktop too)
Did a new permalink save whiteout changing anything.

I installed the AMP for WP plug-in the mobile site broke. Send them a message too. Removed that btw.

But now I have a site that doesn’t work on mobile any more. I just send newsletters out to lot of people and they are complaining they can’t acces the mobile pages.

This is a big problem. And I can’t seem to find the problem.

This indeed is a page post type.

Nevertheless, it has an AMP link which is not expected:

<link rel="amphtml" href="https://ambiance.be/abonneren/amp/"/>

If you have configured the AMP admin screen to uncheck the “Page” post type, then that link should not appear. Also something strange is the page link ends in /amp/ when it should actually end in ?amp. That makes me think that you have another theme or plugin that is adding this link.

As for where the link should be coming from, see:

Also, the AMP plugin does not generate a link with the self-closing trailing slash, so if the link were being generated for a page then I’d expect to see:

But that’s not what I’m seeing. So again, I think you may have another theme/plugin that is causing the problem.

I’m starting to think its the theme. I never had AMP problems like this before. I send a message to the theme developer; I will add this thread in a replay to the dev. I hoped you guys could help solve this problem.
