This is a good plugin but creates an AMP issue, so I have uninstalled the plugin. Please update the plugin and make AMP friendly.

    Hi,

The free version will not work on AMP pages, since it requires Javascript to function. However, if you use our paid version, then it will work, since it doesn’t require Javascript to do the translation.

For more info, please check https://gtranslate.io/#pricing and feel free to ask your questions to our Live chat support.

    Thanks! ??

I did not like your policy for selling paid version, and I don’t recommend your free WordPress plugin for AMP friendly websites, because your free plugin is harmful to the AMP site. Once your plugging created AMP issues, then Google search console, marked my site as an AMP error page. I don’t want to buy your paid version or don’t want to give a negative review for your free version. I am trying to fixing the google search console issue that your free WordPress plugin created on my site. I think you should be honest and mention to the plugin description that your free plugin can create an AMP issue, otherwise, someone else going to put a negative review.

    Hi,

I have confirmed earlier, that our free version should not be and cannot be used on AMP pages, because AMP pages cannot run javascript and free version requires javascript to function.

I have made a test with https://search.google.com/test/amp for your page and it is a valid AMP page and I have not noticed that GTranslate is enabled.

Usually people use AMP plugins to create AMP pages for their website and this plugins must make sure that the AMP pages are created correctly and that not compatible code is removed from the AMP version. If you have issues with it, I would recommend contacting the AMP plugin developer instead, because this is entirely out of our scope of support, since we do not support AMP pages with our free version.

I want to note one more time that we do support AMP pages in our paid versions.

    Thanks! ??

    Hi,
I have confirmed earlier, that I have uninstalled your free version because it created AMP issues. Indirectly you should not force me to write an honest review that your free plugin creates AMP issue because it runs javascript and free version requires javascript to function. My honest review can go against your fishing policy.

My page is now valid AMP because I uninstalled your plugins, and then yesterday and night I have spent a long time to fixed the issues.

@cartoonistarif Don’t do this. Really, do not.

I think you should be honest and mention to the plugin description that your free plugin can create an AMP issue, otherwise, someone else going to put a negative review.

That’s close to a threat of a bad review and that’s not cool. Please refrain from that, that will not be permitted.

This plugin is free and opensource code. You are not a customer of this plugin author. If you’re going to try and strong arm support or somehow pay back the author for your time with a “negative review” then you are missing the point about reviews here.

If you wish to provide feedback then please do. That’s encouraged. Make it about how the author can improve the user’s free experience and supported totally for free by the author doing this on their own time for (wait for it) free.

if you make it about something that you personally dislike that that won’t be cool. Please keep it positive and on point for the community.

    Dear @jdembowski
Thank you for paying attention to my comment, I highly appreciate your feedback.
I never make a negative review, that’s why I decided to contact the developer directly on this support forum. Because, I think this plugin is really a good plugin, it does the smooth translation. If the developer considerate to make free versions AMP friendly, then the plugin can be more popular.
