    Hi,

I have noticed that there are zero in-page ads on AMP. I have tried it on a couple of different browsers via PC and mobile.

However, there is an Anchor Ad fixed at either the top or bottom of the page. Then, when you scroll down to the bottom of the page there are Multiplex Ads (I believe that is what it is called).

I am not exactly sure why in-page ads are not showing. The Site Kit plugin shows that “The AdSense code has been placed on your site”.

Why aren’t the in-page ads showing?

I also submitted the Site Health Information.

    Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out @tips4gamers. I’ve checked your site and I can confirm that a valid AdSense snippet does appear on your AMP URLs. I can also see anchor ads, display ads and vignette ads from browsing your site.

If you’re not finding any in article ads that may be due to the AdSense platform determining that the other ads are sufficient for each page, I can’t be sure. When using Auto ads it’s the AdSense platform that determines the most suitable ads to be placed. As we’re limited to Site Kit support here in the plugin forums, you may wish to check your query with the product experts over at the AdSense Help Center.

Note also that you can place individual ad units if you wish, within your AMP articles. While Site Kit doesn’t support the placement of manually inserted ad units you can use another plugin alongside Site Kit, such as Advanced Ads or Ad Inserter, to place single ad units within your articles. These are both AMP compatible plugins.

Thanks, @jamesosborne, I appreciate the help. Glad to see everything is implemented correctly.

I understand, that makes sense. The non-AMP version of the site applies ads more liberally, so I will see in-article ads and anchor ads. AMP, however, definitely reduces the number of ads—from what I can tell—so that’s what got my attention and I thought maybe the code was implemented wrong by Site Kit.

I am just going to leave it as is. Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

No problem, happy to assist. Note also that if you do decide to use a plugin such as Advanced Ads or Ad Inserted, to place individual ad units on AMP URLs, you can define these across all pages or posts, for example after ever second paragraph. Individual ad units work alongside Auto ads, so you might find it works well on your AMP URLs.

Best of luck with your site regardless, and be sure to reach out if you have any further questions.
