I’m receiving 4 AMP Errors on my first two Google Web Stories. Same errors for both.

1: The tag ‘amphtml nomodule engine script’ is missing or incorrect, but required by ‘amphtml module engine script’.

2: The tag ‘amp-story nomodule extension script’ is missing or incorrect, but required by ‘amp-story module extension script’.

3: The mandatory tag ‘style[amp-runtime]’ is missing or incorrect.

4: The tag ‘amp-story-auto-analytics nomodule extension script’ is missing or incorrect, but required by ‘amp-story-auto-analytics module extension script’.

I’m using the Web Stories plugin which I was told would adjust what’s needed for AMP? I have no idea how to fix these issues. Could it be a conflict with another plugin?

I do not have this issue with Web Stories on another website I own, so I’m highly confused by it.

I see several performance and image optimization plugins on your site, which can cause conflicts with Web Stories. I was able to test a few (Async JavaScript, Optimus, and Swift Performance Lite) and my stories were fine, but I don’t have access to the Perfmatters plugin. Can you please try deactivating it temporarily and checking to see if that removes these errors?

You can also try comparing the plugins on your site where stories don’t have any issues to the plugins on this site – one that is on this one but not the other may very well be your culprit.

Thanks Bethany!!! The Perfmatters plugin was the issue. All the errors cleared when I deactivated that one.

I’m receiving five amp issues for a few of my web stories:
1. The tag ‘amp-lightbox-gallery extension script’ appears more than once in the document.
2. Missing URL for the attribute ‘poster-portrait-src’ in tag ‘Amp-story’
3. The tag ‘amp-img’ may not appear as a descendant of tag ‘amp-story-player’.
4. The tag ‘link rel=canonical’ appears more than once in the document.
5. A mandatory attribute is missing from an HTML tag.
I am confused and don’t know what is the issue related to but every issue page belongs to my web stories. I contacted my hosting but they asked me to contact web stories and amp. Can you help me out with this?
