AMP Errors on Search Console

    I’m getting multiple errors when creating Google Web Stories. I have even tried disabling the Yoast Plugin as I read that that may be causing the issues. However, it hasn’t fixed the problem. Kindly help me, because I have tried everything to the best of my knowledge

    Errors that I normally receive

    A mandatory AMP HTML tag is missing from this document.
    Custom JavaScript is not allowed.
    Disallowed attribute or attribute value present in HTML tag.

  • Hello and thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you are experiencing these issues with your Web Story.

    To help look into this further please could you provide the following:

    1. Your Site Health information or privately here via this form.
    2. Do you get the same validation errors if you temporarily disable the WP Meteor plugin?

    Hi Adam,

    I have filled the form with Site Health Information. I just disabled WP Meteor Plugin and Search Console accepted my validation request. Does that mean it will work now? And if so, what other plugin can I use to speed up my site, because the WP Meteor Plugin really helped with improving my Google Page Speed Insight score

    @oddy89 Thank you for providing the information. Yes now that you have disabled the WP Meteor plugin I can see that your Web Story is now valid.

    While we can’t recommend other plugins for you to use for this I would advise you take this issue to the WP Meteor team who will be able to assist you further.
