  • Hi there,

See answers to your queries below:

1- Invalid item (unnamed item, type – FAQ Page) image

This is to do with structured data and not something specific to the AMP plugin. I checked this with both the AMP and canonical (non AMP) version of this URL and the same occurs on both versions. You’ll need to check your markup or check the plugin you’re using for these FAQs.

2 – Screen size got messed up. image2

This may be coming from your theme or third party plugin. The AMP plugin when used in transitional mode used your themes styling and formatting. If you want to share a specific URL where this is occurring I’d be happy to check.

3 – Is it possible to get search bar in this amp version?

It looks like you have an AMP compatible search form working at present. Can you confirm this is the case?

1- Sorry for the trouble. Yes…those FAQs errors are indeed the fault of the related plugin.

2- True, I think the ads plugin is causing this (not in the non-amp though). Also, not all amp pages have this issue (also not every time). Ads are going out of the container and sometimes the width of the container itself getting smaller than the original. However, I can’t find any such pages at the moment. I’ve provided the link of the page which was getting this error yesterday.

3- The original search bar which is in the non-amp version in the header part. I have enabled this option for amp version too but it’s not showing there.

    Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately we can only assist with AMP plugin related queries in the plugin support forums. If you do happen to find any specific page I can help determine the cause if you’d like to share. I can then point you in the right direction when it comes to support.

I see the search button you’re referring to now. Unfortunately you’ll need to reach out to the theme developer and enquire about why the search icon and functionality doesn’t appear in AMP.

    Thank you.

Also, there are mobile usability issues in amp pages. Can yoy check for that with the same given link?

    Hi Anuj,

If you want to share your findings on anything highlighted in the usability field I’d be happy to advise further. I would expect you may need to reach out to your theme provider but please do share what you’re encountering and I can check this for you.

    Mobile pages are not friendly.

    Errors-

1- Text too small to read
2- Clickable elements too close together
    3- Content wider than screen

In the live test, there were no errors. But the last validation also got failed somehow, even when the live results were perfect. New validation has started; I will reach out to you if it gets failed again.

Thanks for the update and sharing these details. In relation to the mobile friendly test results the formatting and styling of your site comes from your theme. Unfortunately we can’t assist with theme specific queries. I would expect you’ll find the same when performing a similar check from your non AMP URLS.

Certainly, feel free to reach out if you find something that can be addressed or actioned with the AMP plugin and we’d be happy to help. Best of luck with your site.
