I decided to test the plugin again. This time, I want to improve the amp for some custom sessions. However, I realized that / amp is only recognized in single.php pages. If the template is single-videos or single-images it does not recognize the amp. site / post-videos / amp is redirected to website / post-videos. How can I make it recognize custom files?

Do you mean custom theme templates? To do this, you should use the new theme support feature in 0.7 and greatly improved in 1.0-beta2. Read more at https://github.com/Automattic/amp-wp/wiki/Adding-Theme-Support

Theme support means that the plugin will re-use your active theme’s templates. In legacy mode, without theme support, there are completely different templates (with the blue header).

You can download 1.0-beta2 from https://github.com/Automattic/amp-wp/releases/tag/1.0-beta2

Once that is installed, you can a quick test to see how it works by going to the AMP general settings and (1) switch from Classic to Paired template mode, and (2) enable the checkbox “Automatically accept sanitization for any AMP validation error that is encountered.”

Actually, I meant it. I have some post template. But when I choose the post template. Only single.php works with the amp. The other single-customname templates. Does not work.

The theme template hierarchy does not work in the legacy template mode. Please try the new paired mode per above.

Okay, Weston, I’ll do the test. I am migrating to a dedicated server and within the next few weeks I will do the development and then return with the result here =). Appreciate.
