right ok, was just missing the correct script, solved it now, might be worth having your own support forum on your site since it links here currently ??

If you could help us how you fixed it then we can improve it as well

seems like enabling the extension doesnt add the required amp scripts into the head (exact same issue for the comments one), I just added the required amp-user-notification script into the header myself and it works perfectly:
