Amp Categories don’t work

The categories on our site don’t have amp equivalents, although this is checked in the Settings (“Archives [Category & Tags]” is on).

Interestingly, there are two types of errors:

https://goschat.at/oesterreich/amp is being redirected to a single article. I did not configure a redirect and without /amp it works fine.

https://goschat.at/politik/amp does not exist at all and gets a 404.

Any ideas?
