Amp and yoast

    Hey guys, Oshin here
    I want help regarding the following questions :
    1. I am using Yoast SEO premium plugin and Amp plugin, now should I add the canonical URL for amp URLs? And if yes, then how can I add it?

    2. If I write a new post do I need to generate a sitemap every time or it gets added automatically?

    3.How to use the URL inspection tool to check which URL google is treating as a canonical URL.

    Just to give you a headstart on the questions:
    1) If you are using the official AMP plugin from Google, the canonical should work automatically. If you do have issues with it, please do reach out to us.
    2) The Yoast sitemaps are dynamically and is always up to date. You don’t have to do anything for this.
    3) You can always check the page source of any post or page on your site and search for the canonical meta tag, such as <link rel="canonical" href="https://yoast.com/" />. This is the canonical that is seen by Google too.
