AMP Analytics tracking clicks on outbound links

    I would like to track clicks on outbound links on AMP pages. Jetpack Stats showed the clicks on non-AMP pages, but does not show clicks on my AMP pages. Do I need to add a few lines of code into the AMP analytics tracking code? If so, could someone provide the code?

  • Thanks for getting in touch. While I haven’t configured JetPack with Analytics events did you check with their support team?

    A similar support topic came up previously although for a user who has implemented Analytics using Google Tag Manager and an AMP container.

    If you’re unable to setup Analytics with either of the above the product experts at the Google Analytics Help Center should be able to provide better assistance in configuring Analytics on your AMP site. Or you can can check the amp-analytics component documentation.
