Amp – Amp Auto ads – Amp GA4 Support

    Hi, after a few years of stopping about a week ago I reinstalled AMP on my site. Along with the plugin I put in AMP Auto Ads for Adsense and Amp Google Analytics 4 Support. I read that it would be better to install Site Kit but it is a bit too heavy and I would rather avoid it. My question is whether the two plugins for adsense and ga4 were installed correctly. I see the code but the ads still don’t appear despite it being 6 days and on GA4 I can’t understand if the visits are tracked. Can you guys help me understand? Thank you very much for your work

    Thank you for reaching out to us, If you would rather not use Google site kit on your website, you can use this mini plugin that adds Auto Ads on AMP.

    Additionally, please ensure that you followed the steps to enable Ads on AMP pages as we are getting warning in brwoser console [amp-auto-ads] Auto ads for AMP aren't enabled for the provided publisher ID. Learn how set up Auto ads for AMP

    For Analytics, you don’t need a separate plugin as GA4 now supports AMP, just use gtag as vendor in AMP plugin Analytics settings and enter gtag ID check more information on our documentation page.

    I’m using that very mini plugin but probably got the configuration wrong. Should I enter only the numeric code or also pub- ? Also because on Adsense I enabled ads on AMP pages a long time ago so I guess it’s an ID problem

    Yes, it needs to use the publisher ID with prefix ca-pub-
