I gave up on Yoast for this, love there seo however even as a paying customer I was unable to get any information on Amp updates. I decided to spend $39 to buy this AMP plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/wp-amp-accelerated-mobile-pages-for-wordpress-and-woocommerce/16278608?s_rank=4
So far it has worked right out the box with just some CSS issues. I did try anther free plugin first but revived a lot of google errors and they wanted more then $39 to help fix it. With the AMP plug in I paid for my errors are drop off a little each day. I had 121 and now I am down to 13 in just a few days.
