Just started using AMP 1.0.0 in paired mode. It lists one page as validated. Error index says 19 nineteen errors on one page.

The AMP Validation Error Index page for that page says the errors are handled.

    1) Should I bulk accept all the errors on the AMP Validation Error Index?

    2) Will it crawl other posts? Right now it just has one.

This is a great upgrade. Thanks!

  • What you are seeing is not exactly errors, you are seeing the plugin sanitizing the page and removal of unnecessary scripts to make AMP compliant. You should check the AMP page and if the content is OK, then yes ACCEPT them. Then, check the AMP version via the Google validator.

Send me a URL of one of your blog posts.

If the page works with the errors suppressed (i.e. it is still functional as there are no-JS fallbacks in place) then yes. You can mark all those “new accepted” errors as “accepted” and you won’t be alerted about them anymore. Validation error instances are shared across URLs, son if you accept it for one URL then the same error will be accepted on the other URLs as well.

At the moment it won’t crawl posts auromatically. It will validate the posts that you edit. There is a WP-CLI command you can use to bulk validate the site (wp amp validate-site). In the future we want to have an automated crawl of URLs for AMP validity.
