Amount Raised for One-time and Recurring payments
-
This is part 2 of my earlier question.
Is it possible to set up a form for my child sponsorship program
- Yearly donation goal is $2880
- The child sponsorship will run for 12 years
Question 1: Instead of having the form’s donation goal be the total goal for the 12 years which is $34,560 ($2880 * 12 = $34,560). I would prefer the form to show the yearly donation goal of $2880 only. But it needs to run for 12 years and it would take up too much work to create a new form every year as I have a lot of children. Therefore, does GiveWP have a feature where the form automatically renews the yearly donation goal? For example, I have reached the goal of $2880 for this year and on 1st January 2024 the form’s status automatically move from “Goal achieved” to “looking for donation”.
Question 2: I have a mix of one-time and recurring payments for my child sponsorship, therefore I cannot use the amount raised – recurring payment only feature. If my 1st donor made a one-time payment of $1440, would GiveWP be able to automatically filter the available payment options for my next donors? For example, the available payment options for my 2nd donor would be either:
- One-time payment of $720
- One-time payment of $1440
- Recurring payment of $240 per month for 6 months (totaling up to $1440)
- Recurring payment of $120 per month for 6 months (totaling up to $720 only)
And if my 2nd donor chooses option 4 – Recurring payment of $120 per month for 6 months. This child sponsorship would have raised $2160 ($1440 + $720 = $2160) and would need another $720 to reach the year’s goal. So for my 3rd donor, the available options filtered by GiveWP will be:
- One-time payment of $720
- Recurring payment of $120 per month for 6 months (totaling up to $720)
I hope i explained it well. It is really complex and I hope i could find a software that could manage this. Looking forward to your answer, thank you in advance ??
