    Hello

I just changing my backup plugin from BackWPUp to UpdraftPlus.
So I configured UpdraftPlus to backup everything what was possible to include (database, others…). I did a first backup of one of my websites where I do have more then 1000 pictures and movies. The result of the UpdraftPlus Backup is a folder with some (zip) files which have 160 MB in total.
Then I compared this amount of data with my last BackWPUp. There it is a amount of 1.4 GB. This is a huge difference, means for me there is something wrong.

How can I find out why UpdraftPlus has backuped so few data only? I just checked to amount of data at the webserver with WinSCP and it is 1.5 GB. So it can’t be, that UpdraftPlus just need 160 MB for the backup

I just had a look in the backup Logfile. There are these lines:
    0000.036 (0) Binary zip: error (code: -1)
0000.038 (0) Creation of backups of directories: beginning
0000.041 (0) Beginning creation of dump of plugins (split every: 1800 MB)
0000.114 (0) Total entities for the zip file: 940 directories, 6463 files

0014.560 (0) There were no errors in the uploads, so the ‘resume’ event (1) is being unscheduled
0014.561 (0) The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete
    kind regards

    Andreas

I have found the reason by myself. My photos are in a folder at the webserver which is not included in the standard version of your plugin. So I would have to buy another plugin for that. So I moved my photos to the wp-content folder.
