Amount doesn’t change in currency

Hi there, I am really sorry for that, I haven’t tested the plugin with multicurrency support so yes, there is a big chance that it is not working as expected. I’m afraid this would require some custom work.

In any case can you tell me which multicurrency plugin you are using to check if I can find a solution for the future?

Let us know if you can implement this feature sooner as we like the plugin is very simple so we want to use it.

Thanks for your quick implementation. we loved this plugin as it is very simple. Also we had replied you our below message in the sam eemail but i think the email reply doesnt appear here.. however please read our comment below:

We tested it after the changes and now the currency is changing. but it could be more easier. while you are bringing all currency from WPML then you also could call the exchange rate as well. it is double work, first we put all exchange rate for all currency in wpml and then we need to come in COD and enter again one by one. 

Also, just for my knowledge, the plugins like shipping method, extra fee for shipping, discount for xyz, all these plugin shows the values changing with currency without entering any exchange rate then why this COD extra fee has to determine exchange rate etc?

maybe in a future update release I will consider putting exchange rates. Using exchange rates might end up with numbers with ugly decimals I decided to have a simpler solution just entering custom numbers.

Our initial goal for this is to be a “simple” plugin with as few options as possible.

Probably in a future version the exchange rates will be implemented

Hi Dear Andreas, as you know we are using this plugin but recently we faced a challenge or you can say lack of functionality. you have lastly added the feature to mention that cod amount manually in each currency but our customer catch that issue and used in wrong way. example we put $10 in usd currency but for our other cusotmers like lower rates we put another amount and that is definitely will be equal to $1 or $2. so these cusotmers are changing currency and then doing checkout. I told you in the beginning that it should be dynamic like changing the currency in front end should change your cod amount accordingly. even you can use exchange rates from wpml the plugin that we are using and we entered exchange rate as well. Kindly let me know how we can resolve it. we need to get it solved faster. Thanks

I am very sorry to hear that. Yes adding manually the COD fee for each language has the danger of abusing by the user.

I am currently working on a complete revamp of this plugin in version 2. Unfortunately I don’t have a specific date for it because it will need a lot of testing.

Hopefully the updated version should come out during this month

Yes this plug-in is only tested for WPML compatibility. I’m mostly sure it won’t work with other multi currency plugins
