• My friend has been using Americart for her shopping cart.. The site sets up all the shipping etc., and then I pasted code into Frontpage. Now her host is canceling Frontpage. My friend is very ill and has come to me wanting me to help her with this transfer to WordPress.

I’m assuming I can continue with that setup but paste the code. Her site is https://www.chickadeecharms.com Can anyone help me….if I use WooCommerce can I upload all products initially with CSV and then have her staff add and delete the products individually?

If I do it that way would i need to paste the code in each product after the CSV upload?

Also, two other questions…1) with this many products how do I organize the products in the media file so they are not just one big file? I tried a couple plug ins to put files in the media file but wasn’t real happy with them. 2) I don’t know how to line 4 across products so they look nice. I am thinking about purchasing themes through Elegant Themes, such as their Divi theme which sounds pretty nice….but maybe I am just too inexperienced…I’m determined to try to find solutions but I don’t have all the time in the world either..

I hope someone can help me.

Yes, There are several plugins for it, free and paid ones.
I personally recommend this one: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/

    What code?

Thank you so much for answering…I thought I had asked too many questions.

The code I am talking about is that the shop owner has been using Americart for a shopping cart. When I built the site years ago I set it up and then pasted the add to cart, view cart code for each product. Please tell a better way to do this. I have my own business now and work many hours each day so when I have time to work on this I’m pretty spent…help is MUCH appreciated.

WooCommerce handles those buttons in the catalog. No need to paste things manually.
