Amazon sitestripe images broken

  • Hi there,

    My Amazon Site Stripe images load on my website with a broken image next to them. This is for all new images and old ones throughout the site. I noticed it around a month ago and I cannot find the cause of it for the life of me.

    I have eliminated all plug ins, siteground, cloudflare, ezoic and amazon themselves say there is nothing wrong with the code.

    They were working fine with my theme for months. WordPress is my last hope.

    Can anyone help?

    Try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Twenty, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks for your message. I have tried that and the images still appear with a broken one next to it.

    I don’t understand how the broken one is getting there!

    Hey,

    Sorry you’re having this problem too.

    I managed to speak to Amazon who said it is an issue with the way that Chrome browsers display their tracking pixel. Not much we can do about that!

    But i have got a bit of code that hides them on my site so they are not visible any more. I used this:

    img[src*=”https://ir-uk.amazon-adsystem.com/”%5D {
    display: none;}

    Hope that helps you.
