Amazon side bar -how to code -hack?
-
Hello,
I am trying to add amazon books to my side bar.
I know their are plug ins that add the same book list to your entire site (such as the ‘what I am reading’ plugin -however I need to have the sidebar reflect different books I selected depending on what wordpress page the visitor is on.
Example:
on page one I talk about a Buddhist writing, so I would like to place in the side bar a few books I like about Buddhist writing. On page 2 I talk about art instruction, So I would like to list a few good books I know on art instruction.
Is their a plugin that allows me to on each worpress page, give a list of books (by isdn) then displays them in my sidebar when that page is called -and if no books are listed for that page it displays nothing.
If their is no plugin, how do you recommend doing this task?
I have tried using custom keys and just copying and pasting my amazon book selection (widget)list -however I am running in to small errors with only being able to display one widget.
The other idea I am going to try is just to hard code all the amazon data in to a custom key and calling it from the side bar.
thanks for any help on this -you guys (and gals) rock~
TM~
