• We have a competitor that is let saying doing dirty tricks with similar products that we sell on Amazon and undercutting prices.

Is there any tool or plug in that would work where we can monitor and change prices automatically to combat there dirty tricks.

Lets say there are about 70 ASINS they feature that we would like to make sure that we are selling as the cheapest on our websites.

We would prefer some free tools or advice on how it is possible?

I think such a scheme would backfire if we’re concerned with dirty tricks. Let’s say I’m your devious, immoral competitor. I notice what you’re doing, automatically undercutting my devious plan. I’ll put up competing products at such low prices you’ll surely lose money offering a better price. Buyers will mostly go to you with the better price. For the few that try to buy from me, “Sorry, we are now out of stock and can no longer ship.”

As a legitimate business, you have reputation to be concerned with. I’m a dirty trickster, what reputation? You’re probably better off somehow rate limiting requests from certain IPs to make it more difficult to scrape you products in a reasonable time frame. But if your competitor is also operating an illegal botnet, rate limiting by IP will not work.

I’m not sure there’s an easy answer. If there were, everyone would be doing it.
