Amazon Review Hack?

  • Just and idea… dunno… it seems like the Amazon media hack could be adapted to do this:
    Have a way just to put the ASIN or whatever INTO a post when you want to do a review of something? It makes it easier than going into your associates account to get all the code.
    Say I want to review the new Streets CD, I just plug in the ASIN so now I have the image and the link IN the post and I can just review it to my hearts content.
    I wish I could code. =(

    Yes you can, but that is not IN the post. I don’t mean just to put it on a sidebar but to actually write a post about whatever I am reviewing. =)

    Ah, i see what you say.
    ok. email the author of amazon plugin and maybe he can add something like to it.

    My site is run on CG-Amazon, and if you check out my reviews, I have inlined links to amazon stuff. So it is very possible…
    However, I haven’t YET released the system that I use for such inline links — it’s an in-house set of hacks, not yet ready for general consumption, and I use it for four different inlined article ‘tags’.. I hope to transform it into a 1.2 plugin when I upgrade CHAITGEAR to use 1.2 (I’m still on a 1.0 codebase, due to the extensive changes I’ve made…).
