    Hi-

    The plugin works in connection with a TaxJar account. We will only charge sales tax in states that you have indicated nexus. Each business has different requirements of where to collect sales tax so we allow for customization of this. Our blog has a wealth of information to help you figure out if you need to register in a state to collect and remit sales tax.

    So with about a few minutes of setup you will have sales tax calculated at checkout in one or more states for all your sales. Then inside TaxJar we can prepare state summary reports that will help you file your state returns.
