That’s very interesting to know, but for some reason I can’t open these two links.

I made sure I’m logged in to Seller Central Europe with an account that has access to all EU marketplaces, and I tried setting the language before to both english and german, but whatever I try, all I get is the error message

“There was an error displaying this topic.”

(“Fehler beim Anzeigen dieses Themas.” in german)

Not that I had seen this ever before, but maybe you need some kind of registration before you can access Amazon Handmade? But it doesn’t make much sense to restrict even the documentation like this.

I’d suggest you open a support ticket on our website where you include a link to this topic here and ask for Matt, so we can look into this together.

    kind regards,

    Matt

Hi and thanks for your reply.
I made PDFs of this two pages and droped it to Dropbox:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/4lkfkujhwxlos89/Amazon%20Handmade%20Lagerbestand.pdf?dl=0
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/n6zp4q3xwh26n07/Amazon%20Inventory%20FAQ.pdf?dl=0

    Maybe this helps?

Thanks, this is all great news, but from what I can see it basically saying that you should generate and download custom feed templates from seller central, which you can do for all kinds of categories, not just handmade.

It looks like I don’t have access to these categories (nor the instructions pages), but you shouldn’t find any problem following these instructions to download your custom feed template(s).

Instead of editing in in Excel and re-uploading it yourself to seller central, you would then upload that custom feed template into WP-Lister itself and it will work just like any other category specific feed template.

Just make sure that you are on the latest version (0.9.20 or better) as we recently fixed some remaining issue regarding that upload option.

    kind regards,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,
thanks. And now take a look at my first post. Especially at the part “Uploading a stock file perfectly works for handmade products. When I try using the stock file als custom xlsm template file, WP-Lister is telling me: An invalid site_code (amazon) was provided. The file was named amazon.de_handmade.xlsm by me.”

So something goeas wrong but figuring this out needs some more insights in both worlds but especially into WP Lister. That’s where I would need some help.
I hope you will get the chance to get your hands on a handmade account or you won’t be able to test it.

    Regards

That sounds very much as if you tried this on a previous version, before 0.9.20 which introduced a manual marketplace selector, while 0.9.19 tried to guess the marketplace from the filename, which didn’t work reliably – as you noticed.

Besides that there were other issues with the custom feed template upload option, so you should really update to 0.9.21 and give it another try.

If it still doesn’t work, please send us a message at https://www.wplab.com/request-support/ where you include the template file you’re trying to upload, and a link to this conversation on the forum as a quick reference.

    kind regards,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,
great stuff! I was able to import a Amazon Handmade template in your plugin I freshly generated in the seller central!

I will now test, if new products will be pushed to the right category.

    Thanks a lot!

so it is possible at this time to use the plugin to list on Amazon Handmade? If yes, is there a knowledge base about it considering that Handmade doesn’t support variations but Options?

    Hey @naturalworldstm

We don’t have a FAQ or doc on this yet, but I will make a note to do this when I have some extra time.

Yes, we do support Amazon handmade now, ever since we added support for uploading custom feed templates to WP-Lister.

You can click the “Add a product” menu option on your Amazon account directly on Amazon within the “Inventory” tab in the top menu. Click on the “Download an inventory file” link to create your own custom feed templates which you can download your own handmade feed templates and upload to WP-Lister (in the right hand sidebar of the “Categories” setting page of WP-Lister) to use. We have supported uploading custom Amazon feed templates to WP-Lister since version: 0.9.14, but you should make sure you are on at least version 0.9.20 of WP-Lister for Amazon before doing this.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi John

Thanks for the quick reply. Just 1 question:

Am I able to “use” variations as options with the custom feed template? This considering that when You create manually a Handmade product, it doesn’t show up on Seller Central as a variable product but as a simple product with “options” aka variations.

Thanks in advance and thanks for such a great plugin!

    Hey @naturalworldstm

The template you generate and download from Amazon should include all fields necessary to create the variations or these “options” as Amazon handmade calls it.

Thanks in advance and thanks for such a great plugin!

    Our pleasure ??

We will try our best to get some type of tutorial/documentation up as soon as we have some time to do so.

    Kind regards,

Hi! Any luck on the tutorials yet? We have a Woo commerce store and products on Amazon Handmade (FBA) and need to link our Woo store to the Amazon Handmade FBA inventory

    Hey @mac1083

I wish I had better news for you, but I don’t. We have not had time to write any new tutorials.

If you want to link listings that already exist on Amazon to your WC products, there already is a tutorial/documentation for that though. The proper process is to run an import from Amazon to WC as explained here: https://docs.wplab.com/article/87-import-products-from-amazon

    Kind regards,
    John

I know this is an older thread but has anyone been successful in porting products to handmade with this ?

I’m pulling out my hair as I can not get a single product to work so far.

Any details if you succeeded would be so amazing.

    best,
