    Good day,
The Amazon Associates Link Builder Plugin version 1.4.9 is not working well. I experience the some issues with the plugin i.e. with the latest version plugin (1.49) my website is not neatly structured it appears hacked or something, widgets are in wrong places, some text in articles appears in widget area, etc. This happens in latest versions of Firefox and Chrome.

However, on deactivating the plugin everything works fine except that in place of where the ads from ALLB were is the raw code. Otherwise everything falls back into place.

Further, are uninstalled the latest version and installed an older version (which is still available here – https://amazon-affiliate.eu/en/about-the-programme/amazon-associates-link-builder/ – at the time of this writing that is). On activiating the older version everything works, no problems. This shows the newer version has problems.

The setback with uninstalling the latest version for an older version is that you need to re-enter all the requiered credentials which is a real pain. The details are not stored as would normally happen with other plugins. If you have more than 3 websites this could be tedious.

Could you kindly fix this problem because the websites look suspicious to the end-users because the webpages are not structured well and make no sense.

Further, on a page where the AALB code has not been used, the page displays OK. The pages that are haywire are those where the AALB code has been used (on the same website). Kindly and urgently assist please.

    Hi @buronc,

Please see if clearing the cache solves your issue. If not, may you please share the following details about your set up to help us analyze the issue:
    1. WordPress version
    2. PHP version
    3. Web Server version
    4. OS version
    5. Browser version.
    6. Screenshots of your website where you faced the issue
    7. WordPress Theme
    8. Which ad-template is being used on pages where you are facing the issue?
    8. PHP error logs(if any)
    9. Browser console log errors(if any)
    10. Website URL

From now onwards, you can use WP Rollback plugin, that makes it easy to rollback to the previous version and preserves almost all the settings.

You can also share the above details here or by writing to us at [email protected]

Same here. With Version 1.4.9 the product links are all over the place. Even in the side bar where the navigation menu used to be. A rollback to 1.4.8 fixed the problem.

    1. WP Version: 4.8.1
    2. PHP Version: 5.6.30-0+deb8u1
    3. Web Server Version: Apache 2.4.10
    4. OS Version: Windows 10 home 64bit (Client)
    5. Browser Version: Opera 47.0.2631.71 (PGO) and Chrome Version 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    6. https://imgur.com/a/46Orq
    7. WordPress Theme: Conica
    8. Template: Custom Product Link (in the shape of a button, instead of text)
    8a.
    9.
    10. https://hundebetten.shop/sonstiges/besonderes (however now rolled back to 1.4.8)

Please share your results with us. We really appreciate your efforts on helping us to debug the issue.

Hi there, my staging site still had the version with the bug. I just followed the directions and rolled back to the newer version and it’s working fine again. My layout is back to normal.

    all the best,
    Jesamine

    Affirmative!

Seems like the RC for 1.4.10 fixes the problem. The product overview looks good again.

I would still prefer that all image would be loaded at the first load of the page. I have 10+ Product links in my page and a random number of images only shows after I reload the page. That’s a rather old problem from way back when. Just saying… ??

From my point of view 1.4.10RC looks OK. (Y).

    Cheers,
    Sascha

    Dear @superninchen,

We will surely assist you. May you please start a separate thread mentioning the issue in detail along with screenshots. Also, please mention that whether the issue is of few images in the same shortcode not getting rendered in the first load of the page or is it that few shortcode doesn’t get rendered at all on the first load of the page

Hello again, now I’m getting this message when I try to save (not every time, but enough for it to be problematic):

Please configure your PA-API credentials in the Settings Page to use the Link Builder features.

Everything is already configured. This message seems to appear at random. And, I have not used this plugin for this post.

When I do get this message, the contents of my post completely disappears (to 0 words) and I have to back out 2 pages to get back to it. I have 8000 words in this super-post, so if it actually did do something to that precious content, that would not be good. I immediately made a copy of the post when I noticed this error, so I’m okay.

I tried everything in this thread. No matter what, I still get the following error response:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mustache_Autoloader in /home3/prison/public_html/wp-content/plugins/amazon-associates-link-builder/lib/php/Mustache/Autoloader.php on line 16

    Hi all,
I am running WP version 4.9.5
    PHP version 5.6.32

when i try to activate the plugin the error is
Fatal error: Cannot declare class Mustache_Autoloader, because the name is already in use in /home1/inqbarco/public_html/btcfacilcolombia/wp-content/plugins/amazon-associates-link-builder/lib/php/Mustache/Autoloader.php on line 15

No matter if I roll back to version v1.4.10 or v1.4.10RC or any other, the problem remains.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Best regards,
